Anwar Ensures Pengadegan Fire Survivors Basic Needs Are Met

South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar ensured the post-fire handling in Pengadegan, Pancoran District runs optimally and the fire survivor basic needs are met.

Anwar invited all elements of the government to ensure the best possible handling, including cleaning up the remaining fire debris.

"We deployed 150 rainbow troops to clean the remaining fire debris," he said, Tuesday (10/14).

In addition to providing in-kind assistance and ready-to-eat food to fire survivors, hos side also provided condolence money to the families of the deceased victims.

"I also requested Baznas (Bazis) to rebuild houses for the families of the deceased victims," he added.

Anwar also appealed health services and trauma healing to continue to be optimized until the post-fire handling process is complete.

Meanwhile, one of the deceased victims, Wahyu Winarno, thanked the South Jakarta Administration for this post-fire handling.

According to him, related units have provided population registration administration such as family card, identity card, and death certificate.

"We are grateful to receive help and assistance today," he admitted.
